S. Tiger Security Service (STSS) wants this website to be usable by everyone, irrespective of device, technology or ability. Our aim is that visitors with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers, can find information and contact us with ease.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We also follow the accessibility principles of the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) as good practice. As a private company website, we adopt these guidelines voluntarily to give our visitors a familiar and accessible experience.
Accessibility Features
The website offers the following features:
- Skip to content – a link at the top of each page lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the header and menus and go straight to the main content.
- Keyboard navigation – menus, links, buttons and forms can be reached and operated using the keyboard (Tab, Shift + Tab and Enter).
- Text size controls – the A-, A and A+ buttons decrease, reset or increase the text size.
- High-contrast mode – a contrast option switches the website to a high-contrast colour scheme for easier reading.
- Alternative text – images carry text alternatives (alt text) so that screen readers can describe them.
- Language toggle – a Hindi/English switch changes the navigation labels.
- Remembered preferences – your text size and contrast choices are saved in your browser, so you do not need to set them on every page.

Known Limitations
We are working to improve accessibility, but some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- PDF brochures in the Downloads section may not be fully optimised for screen readers. If you need the information in another format, please contact us.
- The Hindi/English toggle applies to navigation labels; most page content is in English only.
- Third-party websites linked from our pages may not meet the same standards.
Browser Compatibility
The website is designed to work with current versions of widely used browsers, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari, together with their built-in zoom features and common assistive technologies.

If you face difficulty in accessing any content or feature, or need information in an alternative format, please tell us. To help us respond quickly, include:
- the web address (URL) of the page;
- a short description of the problem;
- the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using.
